okay i survived the bloody field camp.
rumours has it all, field camp is the worst thing of BMT. and yes i seriously agree. it was a period where the characters of all people start showing. it was a period where everyone was so annoyed and shagged. it was a period where you see who are your true friends. first day of field camp,worst of all i thought. after 8km march, set up basha tents then went urban ops thing. freak,i was having serious breathing difficulty and i was already ready to give up. my platoon 17 people fell out for the urban ops thing. OC CPT Tan came and scolded us weaklings. demoralising, say what even PES C batch better than us. but he's still very nice, gave us rest for 2 hours before continuing. thanks to those people who asked me not to give up,seriously,thanks! (: so first two days slept in basha tents. 2nd night,rain like hell. squeezed inside one basha with 3 other ppl,cool huh!?! 3rd day,moved to our new camp site for the jungle ops thing. freak!to get up to our sleeping shellscrape area,we need climb a hill for 8 mins? wtf!wth!crazy! imagine getting up and down at night and especially the ground is muddy. digged the shellscrape like crazy for about 6 hours. tried to pia finish it within 4 hours so got reward but failed ): sleeping in the shellscrape really sucks,next morning you'll find yourself swimming in it (: and yes throughout the 6D5N,it rained for 4night. how unlucky can we be? all my long 4 uniform,socks,underwear and field pack is all brown in colour le. was appointed field camp IC on day 4 night. first reporting strength jiu kena half left down le,haiz! dont know why they picked me. being an IC is damn tough, count strength here there,pass message around. day 5 night, told SGT "SGT,thought field camp IC supposed to change every night?" haha, he said"you're doing a good job, carry on" lol, so bo bian carried out with it for the last day lor. so field camp ended on thursday. see the toner coming to pick us up,holy molly! damn shiok!even shioker when went back to camp! we're in heaven! so overall field camp was really really tough. i think it was the influence of all my platoon mates that kept me going. and also my family, saw the letter they wrote to me. cried like hell, its been eons since i cried huh? field camp makes me appreciate the things around me more. now i'll take nothing for granted. and i believe i'm a better man now! (: and yes i'm booking in on monday! and next week damn shiok. monday book in, thursday book out! WEE!!! tml k outing with section mates,maybe not going cause too early haha. but definitely joining them for lunch and other stuffs! (: and i want forward all the way to POP,taiwan trip with platoon mates! how cool can that be! (: and i'm freaking addicted to this song,lol. everytime take my rifle can use it as a guitar and sing this out,lol! 11:20 pm |
