hi peeps! last week nvr blogged so here i'm (:
actually feel like closing this blog cause think there's not much point in blogging. but as a promise to some ppl, gonna keep this blog alive and keeping as long as possible! okay so its been 3 weeks ever since i'm in combat medic vocation. my feelings towards it is 360 degree total change. for PTP/BMT, it took me 5 days to accept i'm in army. for combat medic,it took me 2 weeks to accept i'm in in. guess what, i'm gonna start saving life! the SGTs in the course are right, you're the leader when it's during times of emergency. fancy a combat medic ordering a 2nd Lieu to go take a stretcher,LOL! SEEK,SAVE,SERVE! SO THEY MAY LIVE! and i'm certified to carry out CPR in the public for 2 years! wee! first major accomplishment in the course. 2nd major accomplishment, i'm did 2 successful IVs (: just 8 more pokes to go! 3rd major accomplishment, i can do 7 pull-ups le (: haha, but then not really extend my arms to the max. every night in the camp,lying on the bed,i think alot. i think about my goals,the things i want archieve in life. came up with a very simple goal: EXCEED MY LIMITS! and for the things i want to archieve, its quite a lot actually. and i'm gonna start after i pass out from this unit. maybe i'll kena a 8-5 posting which everyone says its "AQUA兵" but maybe its a good thing, i'll have plenty of time to learn all the things i want. first thing i want to learn is driving (: quite a huge sum to pay if i want learn, but see how. second thing is cooking! my dream when i was young was to be a chef. but somehow after working in Swensens, that dream faded away. i hate all chefs, they sucks! i just want learn cooking and cook for the fun of it, not to be a chef and earn money. and cook for my loved ones (: third thing is guitar! classical guitar please, its damn nice! gonna learn and sing 够爱 to the special one (: another thing i've thought of is that one should learn to stop thinking of the past, look forward to the future, 明天会更好! the first week of camp i keep comparing everything to Quebec. especially my section mates, turn out it was not a good thing! from second week onwards, i try to not compared so much and it turn out good! i don't really feel that sad anymore le and find out ppl in my section are actually nice (: but don't mistaken,i still miss all quebec platoon 3 mates, won't forget you all de la,haha (: next week national day le! damn fast huh! long weekend FTW! but hopefully my guard duty won't be on weekend, if not really haiz! and hoepfully not on friday also,if not cannot book out on friday. got to go airport after book out. not planning to AWOL pls, is to send my mum and sis off to Shanghai. zzz,so envious can enjoy life. i want go also la! kind of reminds me of the time when i went airport preparing to go taiwan ): and i got a new haircut,kind of weird sia. long time nvr step into a barber shop and giving more than $2 to cut hair. trying to rebuild my eiffel tower but very funny, i miss my recruit hairstyle more! LOL! chao funny de can, 4 months ago, "NO, MY HAIR!" 4 months later, "WHY SO MUCH HAIR?" 2 weeks later see how lo,if very ugly then shave to recruit styl  e (:all of a sudden, i miss 长发玛丽 ): good luck for your A level (: 10:50 pm Sunday, 18 July 2010 yoo!finally one week has passed! my mood this week is down, really down to the max! i'm really damn sad to get into this unit. i'm damn envious of the guys in SCS. if only i've worked harder during BMT, disappointment! this was the week we reported to our new unit. shan't say much about the unit especially after what happened to that sispec guy. maybe i should OOC from my new unit cause i don't think i'm suitable for it. ppl keep saying its good its good, but to me, not really. the kind of things i do, not for me please. but how, they already said we have no choice but to carry on the training. so? suck thumb lor ): and i'm so stressed up by the bio stuffs and especially many other platoon mates have bio backgrounds ): freak this man! on the very first day when i reported to my camp, new camp, new buddy, new bunk,new platoon mates. my buddy is from Quebec platoon 2 and he's nice. the bunk is so much smaller compared to Tekong. on the very first night, i cried on my bed. believe it or not, up to you whether you want laugh, YES, I CRIED! i'm not going to say what happened in the afternoon that made me cried, but the fact that i misses my section mates and bunk in tekong contributes more to it. i seriously miss them la! think that for the whole of 2 years in NS, Quebec platoon mates will be those i'll always remember. we must go out more often please, we're brothers in arms, brothers proud to be! today morning met up with Quebec platoon 3 (: there were Nic,MG,HH,CY,DX,Stanley,David,Daniel & Yiliang. lol, weird huh calling Sgt Yiliang by his name. we were all late except for Sgt, LOL! went ASTONS eat eat,then talk cock sing song. it feel so good to finally sit down and eat with them again. you don't know how lonely I'm in cookhouse nowadays ): after that went walked walked around then we went Mind's Cafe at Funan. Sgt left and we played some card game forgot what name le. left at around 5 plus to rush to JP to meet up with classmates. dang, don't know when will be the next time i see my platoon mates. Japan trip after ORD taiwan trip? haha,time to save $$$ (: late for the class outing too,ended up skipped dinner till after the movie. there were Joel,CZ,KS,Kannan,Enhui &Enxuan. went watched Inception instead of Despicable Me. the movie was long huh, 2 1/2 hours? starting was abit draggy and boring, but behind quite nice. okay la,actually the movie quite nice but some parts still abit gong gong de (: after movie,Yiqi came and we went dinner at 9 plus at Fish&Co. talk cock sing song also then we began doing some funny stuffs. open number and the one who kena got to do some lame&funny stuff suggested by Joel. we even borrowed the boat and the fish hung up at fish&co. LOL!damn funny! if only everyday was like that, haiz ): so one day down le, less than 24 hours to book in. dang! and tml or rather todae need to do all those online assignments. dang! theres so many of them please, hmph! nothing much le la, hopefully this week when i book in everything will be fine. including my very very first IV,pray hard man!  taken from someone's blog, hopefully she wont mind (doubt so she'll be here anyway) Yes, I Want To Know What I Want! 12:04 am Friday, 9 July 2010 BACK FROM TAIWAN! not going to blog everything about the 5D4N but about the individual places. and not going to upload all the photos here,theres 500+ photos from all our cameras pls. so here it goes: SHILIN NIGHT MARKET happened on the first day,first night. its seriously a must go place when you go taiwan huh. plenty of foods, plenty of games, plenty to shop. 鸡排，小笼包，炸牛奶，马铃薯，虾仁煎，盐水鸡，大肠包小肠 are some foods found here. out of all these, i think the cheese potato is still the nicest. one potato stuffed with bacon,ham,pineapples,corns covered with lots of cheese and its only NT60($2+)  TAIPEI 101 the 2nd highest building in the world. and pls,its damn difficult to take a picture with it. cost you NT370 to go up (with our 11B got discount de,LOL!) took the lift,okay its damn awesome! 37 seconds only to go up from 1st floor to the 88th floor if i'm not wrong. the view up there wasnt that awesome i thought. cause the skies were cloudy,misty and we went in the day. the outdoor observatory place at the 89th floor is a more disappointing thing. can't really see much but clouds and blow blow wind nia.    WUFENPU this is a seriously MUST GO place if you want shopping,shopping and more shopping. kind of like bugis street but its alot better. more than 200+ shops together and theres clothes,bags,shoes for both sexes. spent quite alot here i think. bought 3 shirts, 2 bermudas, 1 bag. sorry no photos taken here cause too busy shopping le (: LEOFOO VILLAGE RESORT the best theme park i've been to? btw i've only been to 2 theme parks,the other being ESCAPE,LOL! its seriously damn fun, rides you totally cannot find in Singapore. entrance fee is NT890 ($40+) but you can spend the whole day here seriously. the last time i went ESCAPE, i sat the pirate ship and i vomited like hell. this time,maybe because i've grown up (haha),i tried all those super freaky rides. the first one, the 360 degrees turn thingy. holy moly, the feeling really sucks when the thing just stop at the top. you're totally falling down,damn scary pls!  the second one, the free falling machine. the machine will carry you all the way up to very high and stop there. and before you can shout, the whole thing just fall down. it takes about 20 seconds to go up, 4 seconds to come down. how about it? definitely not going to jump off the building next time if i want commit suicide (LOL!)  the third one and the most freakiest one. called screaming condor or something. didnt knew what it was cause it was the first ride of the day. no preview and the entrance to it is damn ulu huh. the moment it starts, i just feel like jumping off the machine. the speed is damn fast pls. from the picture below, theres two tower like thingy. the machine will just accelerate up one tower and then move backwards to the other in a second? and the right tower is a curvy one, makes it even more scary pls. i closed my eyes throughout the thing thinking why am i making myself suffer huh? this is definitely the worst ride of my life. after that, my legs went jelly and i feel like puking le. but overall leofoo village resort is damn fun pls! really worth the money but getting there from taipei is troublesome and exp. saw 3 singapore girls there,haha!  KEELUNG went on the last night at taiwan. quite far from taipei also. the purpose we went there was seafood. and dang! the seafood there is really awesome i supposed! all those weird weird stuffs also got. super big oyster for NT200 (9+) butter crab for NT200 (9+) and i didnt know sea urchins are edible till MG ate it (eww!)   DIN TAI FUNG must be thinking whats so special about it even though singapore has so many. the DIN TAI FUNG we went to is the world best i think, won some award. the service is really good and the food is good. the xiao long bao is really nice and its cheap pls! singapore de one basket (6) cost $8-10 if i'm not wrong. the one in taiwan one basket (10) cost NT190 ($8). the price is almost the same but the quantity, look! so nice and cheap we ordered one basket each, 7 baskets in total (: and theres a xiao long bao inside got taro/red bean fillings, damn nice de! cannot be found in singapore and i bought 10 back (:  so thats all for the taiwan trip. lazy to write anymore le. it was seriously fun la,first time going overseas with friends. and with friends known only for 4 months. we even saw our PT instructors Zheng Jie & Zhi Yong there, LOL! its the last time i get to spend times together with my platoon mates. its really damn sad when taking the flight back from taiwan. and congrats to the whole lots going to OCS and SCS. you guys really deserve to be in command school (: fyi, i got into combat medic. maybe because they see my cca in JC is all about first aid so put me there huh? i just feel damn sad when i saw the posting result. to speak the truth, my target was SCS. i knew it was not possible after failing IPPT especially. so disappointed that i nearly cried this morning. and thats the reason why i didn't pick up any call this morning. sorry DX,HH,CC, haha! think really a goodbye to all platoon 3 mates le ba (except for KF,same vocation (: ) be it times in PTP,BMT or TAIWAN, its really nice meeting these ppl. goodbye peeps and good luck in your new units! (: (the taiwan gang i'll always remember..)

Saturday, 3 July 2010 wee! another week has passed! this was the week i was so looking forward to when i first enter Tekong. now? was praying the day not to come so fast. last week in Tekong Rocky Hill Camp. really damn emotional, its been 4 months. the 4 months stay really has made the camp my second home. be it the bed, the bunk, the ppl, i missed everything! on thursday night when our bunk and lockers were so empty, the feelings really sad ain't it? and when friday morning came and we had to leave, really damn feel like crying. i don't know about other ppl but thats the way i feel. byes byes to: - my bunk as a fantastic place to sleep, play and train - the toilet for the bathing up and queuing up after breakfast to shit - the MPH where we had lots of hell there - the swimming pool in Ladang for all the aqua jogging and washing machine we had - the parade square where we had our water parade, training, RO - the pull ups bar in the coy where we train hard almost everytime - the ferry terminal where we book in and book out - the toners and the buses - platoon 3 ppl where everyone (maybe) is great and nice - my section 2 ppl for being so fun-loving, haha - my buddy even though most ppl don't really like him - SGT Yiliang for all the guidance and help throughout - SGT Jonathan for the bed sheets, pillow cases (: - SGT Jieshen for the SBJ techniques and pull up hell regime - SGT Boon Keat for being such a good PS - 2LT Yang Heng for being such a wonderful PC - 2LT Shawn for being such a wonderful PC during PTP too, seriously the best 2LT! - and last but not least, thank you Quebec! (: so yesterdae was the 24km route march, our last high key event together. marched with Kuang Fa, Kai Xuan, Jia Rong, Hong Hock, Ben behind mini karaoke and eating sessions huh!?! haha! managed to complete it even though it was hell tough, really tough! our POP parade was WTH! it rained and we didnt have the chance to do the parade at all. kns! rehearsed for 5 days and no chance to put up a good show for our parents. the wet weather plan for POP is seriously lousy, messy and sucky! it was so chaotic pls! and we had so little time to take pictures, dang it! so POP marks the end of our journey in BMT, i wish everyone from Quebec the best, and hope lots of ppl can go into command school(definitely not me) (: Quebec Platoon 3 Section 2 (:  today morning woke up by KF at 7.50am. went to his house play mahjong. supposed to meet at 9am but ended up all Nic,HH and me were late. LOL! had roti pratas finally after 4 months (curry curry curry) played for around 3+ hours, long time nvr play. let me see, last time i played was during CNY huh,haha. won $1.50 (: after that jiu came back home washed fieldpack,helmet,ILBV,Boots,Sling Bag. seriously so many things to wash. and guess what, i'm going Taiwan tml! wth! its like a dream pls, everything happens so fast. tml got class outing also, dang cannot go ): and they're going Kuinshinbo, lol! why suddenly that place so popular de, section mates and class like to go there. heard its very nice but the price is definitely, yee! okay la, thats all! last post before going to taiwan! I'll be back by thursday night! woohoo, can't wait to eat,shop and play with platoon mates for the next 5D4N(: 4:53 pm |
