very short post i suppose (:
wee! 1 week of combat phase finally over! it was quite tough actually even though it was quite slack. and finally get to put on camou since field camp. one thing funny is they don't care how you put the camou, you can have all sorts of designs on your face, LOL! wednesday was our last nights out. it was mid-autumn festival and i could have went home. but i didn't, went lan instead with platoon mates. our last nights out together already, aw! friday night was guard duty. prowling seriously damn tiring but last guard duty in neesoon, so just do it! nvr kena turned out which is a very good thing (: left 2 more days of combat phase which is the mission. think it will be very xiong and chaotic with so many casualties on the field. and after watching the "band of brothers" scene on the medic, its seriously very very tough to be the only medic on a battlefield. after watching the movie, my emotions were affected. after you failed to save a casualty, you'll just feel its all your fault won't you? please, i hope for world peace in the future! next wednesday will be our medics night. and we're going to do a skid on what happened in the last 11 weeks or so. remember our first IV, our first morning run, CPR lessons. lol, kind of depressing sia! on the first day, i was itching to faster POP and get out of that place. but today, can i please stay at that place and hope our course can be extended? yes i admit, i'm not really close to this platoon as compared to in quebec. but there are some ppl who i'm really close to and i think i will miss them the next time ): friday will be our POP le. seeing our parents put on the medic band for us, and after that, we'll say goodbyes to each other. there won't be anyone by your side the next time, since only 1 medic will be attach to 1 platoon or unit, DAMN! and i seriously don't know where i want to be posted to. be it medical center, be it platoon medic or even guards, i just don't want to think about the next 1 1/2 years in army.
